"All the world’s a stage,

And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages." -Shakespeare

The World of WhatNot

Look around.
Do you see what I see?

I see a War of Worlds.

The World of SignNot.
The World of HearNot.

Worlds that were divided in the middle of what once was an open meadow. Split apart by a huge behemoth of a wailing wall. A wall that was constructed by the jealous and vengeful world of SignNot, who collectively felt intimidated by the World of HearNot because of their visual and spiritual gifts.

This wall was designed to wail, moan, groan with hopes that some who were assumed to be a HearNot might be lured into the Rehabilitation Program and to deter the Delinquents.

This HearPlan was conceived when a gathering of delegates from the World of SignNot had convened and determined to segregate the population by building a ultrasensitive wall. The wall would be designed only to allow certain people to cross over based on their abilities, whether it'd be signing and speaking, or signing and hearing, or signing, hearing, and speaking.

This wall represents the HearPlan to forcibly eradicate a cultural world and exterminate a linguistic entity in hopes that the World of SignNot would not ever be made to feel inferior or underprivileged by those who could hear through the Third Eye. The Third Eye that which is developed in the very psyche and internal energy of a HearNot person's soul. It awakens a part of the person with an expansion in awareness and an explosion of compassion that begins to discover such segregation and division was only established for the sake that the World of SignNot would be the One and Only. A wall founded with the empirical intentions that they may profit on the confusion between the HearNot folks of various abilities.

Some blindly gave in and were assimilated.
Some were forced over but climbed back out.
Some never climbed over and stayed in the meadow.

The idea was to layout the Battlefield and slowly watch the World of HearNot self destruct with hope that the World of SignNot would reign supreme and the world would never have to feel afraid that a person of HearNot would be able to read their thoughts, bodies, and expressions.

!32 Years of War between Worlds.
The World of SignNot has evolved into a World of CareNot.
The World of HearNot has been forced into a state of ShareNot.

Today...

The Battlefield is scattered about with folks writhing the arms of others whilst bloodied hands sign with fierce frustration in the faces of those who SignNot. There are smoldering voices roaring up false testimonies, proclaiming in the name of science and medicine, that there IS a cure for those who HearNot.

One Wall.
Two Sides.
One Meadow.

1/3 SignNot: Built Wall
1/3 CareNot/ShareNot : Sold Out
1/3 HearNot : Standing in the Meadow.

Because CareNot and ShareNot have crossed over, made deals, and signed contracts with the contractor of SignNot. SignNot has their support and thus, Majority Rules.

Whilst the CareNot and the ShareNot have their pudding with greed and betrayal on their hands, they twiddle their thumbs with scheming plans not to remove the wall but to own a part of it that they may be in on the profits of Deafness.

Should I call them traitors or should I not blame them?
I don't know but I can tell you this:

When I was a child, I heard the Earth Mother and the Sun Father tell me: "Though we appear apart, together we give you Life." So with the soil underfoot and the sun on my back, I knew what they meant.

"We are One."

In this World of WhatNot.
A world of Oppressive Bigots, Fearful Elitists, and WhatNot.

We are all victims of WhatNot.

  1. perhaps the HearNots are the HereNow folks - living the truth, walking close to the mother to better know her beat and rhythms and feeling intensely the fatherly sun on our faces so that we may know that we is loved... as is

    and nuttin' else matters, eh?

so while there has always been the:
    haves
    have a little want more
    and have nots

there have also been those in the meadow - the truth seekers that r little understood or appreciated until AFTER

so while the CareNOT & Share NOT try to make it a "hear, hear" world some have already answered with the truth refrain of "here, here"

thanks for ur writing - conjured up a bit of Dr. Suess' The Butter Battle Book meets the Sneetches

and of course for me Horton Hears a Who is never far behind

    thank ya kindly

    Peace,

    patti
