Join the National Association of the Deaf today!
Why I am joining the NAD. You should too! Please go to www.nad.org and check out the many ways you and NAD can help each other.
I plan to start telling the Deaf community to join NAD soon as Howard Rosenblum becomes the CEO for NAD. I strongly believe that Howard will revive NAD to be a strong organization and really looking forward working with him after April 1st.
Hey Jeffery, you are right, we have become too comfortable with our standings in society. Time to change and be a part of the deaf community nationwide. My wife and I talked about it and have decided that both will be joining. Thanks for bring this to our attention in a no-nonsense way, but also in a gentle way. That I can work with.
LOL at the last part about the sun! At least, you got your healthy dose of vitamins.
I want to thank you both for watching my vlog. I believe that no organization can maintain it's mission and purpose without the support of the people. In turn the organization is to support us.
I am proud to be able to voice my concerns to the NAD and more than happy to help in any way I can.
Jeff, commendable commentary. What gives me pause is the parameters that the NAD has traditionally worked within...I'd like to be reassured that they will go outside those parameters to get the job done. My statement is very broad, hoping that you will understand what I mean......because I gotta go for a while....mundane matters of life, ya know, lol.....
